Oslo based record label and promoters Ute return to the Festsal for a weekend of deep club music accompanied by generative visuals and installations. For the third edition of Aural Connection, Ute and MUNCH scale up this popular evening with a two-day gathering and stellar line-up, exploring the themes of ‘mind’ and ‘body’.
Visitors can expect an immersive audio-visual experience with musical vibrations ranging from ambient to downtempo & IDM.
Oslo-based collective Ute are renowned for their fusion of music, nature and community. Founded in 2017, Ute began its journey by hosting intimate forest parties, soon picking up a devoted following. Their sound, deeply rooted in psychedelic trance, also extends into the realms of long-form downtempo and chill-out music, showcased on their sub-labels, Sinensis and Translusid.
Alvar
Teo Bachs (otherwise known as Alvar, Ekkel and more) is the co-founder of Norway's Ute crew that grew quickly from smoke filled mornings on the Norwegian forest floor to showcases at Bassiani and bush parties in Australia. His studio recordings (as Ekkel) offer a modern take on 90s Nordic electronica that is as mental as it is progressive, diving headfirst into breaks and percussive trips.
O. Blom
O. Blom (formerly Ra-Shidi) is the alias of Olivia Blom from Tromsø, now based in Oslo. She treats music as a place where we can meet and connect. She has an innate musical ability, fusing organic rhythms with ethereal melodies.
Mørkøye
Mørkøye is an emerging DJ based in Oslo. In recent years, she has garnered attention for her captivating sets and otherworldly soundscapes. She skillfully blends various psychedelic genres, seamlessly transitioning from contemporary deep techno to dusty trance spanning the last three decades.
Lara Palmer
Lara Palmer's sound oscillates between dark, hypnotic grooves, and straight-up techno. With a broad spectrum, Lara manages spaced out ambient just as well intense techno either in sweaty basements or deep in the woods, with a spellbinding elegance.
Marius Bø
Located in electronic music’s northern hemisphere, Ute co-founder Marius Bø’s artistry is rooted in a profound connection to nature and the communal spirit of open-air gatherings.
Mikkel Rev
Mikkel is a mysterious figure in Oslo's underground scene and a core member of the Ute collective. Drawing from early psychedelic music and analogue hardware, he has sculpted a signature sound that seamlessly merges old-school trance with emotional depth and a soft, melodic touch.
