UNG After Hours invites you to a unique evening where you can explore a dynamic mix of music, food and workshops in an intimate setting. By transforming the museum into a vibrant space for community, we want to inspire creativity!
In our inaugural series, we explore the intersection of experimental music and unique Here you will experience innovative performances and workshops.
Program 25.03:
We invite you to join us After Hours, where we will paint a custom design directly onto a totebag or a t-shirt. There is a limited number of materials, so be sure to arrive early.
This workshop will focus on colour theory and painting on textiles. Colour is one of the most powerful tools in art. It can convey emotions, create harmony, and serve as the focal point of a piece. In this workshop, we will explore colour theory to help you understand how to use colour intentionally, as well as teach you how to paint on textiles.
Everyone will have the opportunity to sketch out their design before fully committing. We will provide t-shirts and tote bags for participants to create their own unique art pieces to wear.
Program 18.03:
We want to invite you to a night of exploring drawing as an art form and all the ways you can create. We hope that throughout the evening, you'll learn a few techniques and have fun. We promise to provide a relaxing environment, a sense of community, materials, as well as snacks and drinks. This is an alcohol-free event.
About the workshop: We will explore basic drawing techniques, including drawing portraits. You’ll learn about proportions, perspective, anatomy, and more. In addition to individual learning, we will come together to create a collective artwork on a large canvas. The workshop will be inspired by themes in Safario`s music.
The young multidisciplinary artist Kacper Błażej Tratkowski, known as Safario, invites you to Art Club in collaboration with Munch Ung: After Hours. Kacper is deeply passionate about community and togetherness, and is a well-known figure when it comes to bringing like-minded artists together to explore new creative adventures.
Safario himself has been deeply engaged in painting over the past year. Since he started painting just over a year ago, he has been on an exciting journey of discovery in the world of visual arts, alongside his musical work.
With a new album on the way and a festival summer ahead, Safario is just as passionate about helping others find their own artistic voice and create more authentic art from the heart.
The goal of the evenings is to promote new ideas, meet new people, create together, and build a stronger and more connected artistic community in the city.
