Children’s art day at MUNCH presents playful guided tours, creative workshop activities and inspiring experiences, at childrens eye level. On this day, we’ll be exploring the exhibition Georg Baselitz. Feet First.
Do you ever feel like everything’s standing on its head? Georg Baselitz does. He’s a famous German painter who rebelled against conventional ways of painting. And the usual things he paints, people, animals or trees, he paints them upside down.
On Children’s art day we’ll explore Baselitz’s universe with a breakdance performance followed by a creative painting workshop.
Victor Prag (30) was born and raised in Oslo. Over the past ten years he’s become one of Norway’s top breakdancers. He was Norwegian champion from 2019 to 2023, and has worked with children and young people for many years.
The painting workshop is held by the museum’s brilliant educators and workshop assistants.
