In this exhibition tour, our art educator, together with students, will explore different aspects of Edvard Munch’s artistry. We’ll take a closer look at how Munch takes up a number of central motifs and themes from realistic and modernistic art traditions, including grief and death, love and sexuality, loneliness, existentialism, nature and the city.
Students will see world-famous motifs like The Scream and Madonna, as well as other important artworks which give a new perspective on Munchs' diverse output.
We place a strong emphasis on students taking an active part in the exhibition tour, creating space for discussion and the students’ own reflections.
