Children’s Art Day at MUNCH is a series of events including tours, creative workshop activities and inspiring experiences aimed at kids.

If you take a deep breath and really take time to look at a picture, what takes shape before your eyes? Maybe, if you look long enough, a creature, animal or face will suddenly appear? Kerstin loves playing tricks on our eyes and with our minds!

First there will be a magical meeting with the playful universe of Kerstin’s art. We’ll explore optical illusions and crazy colours. Maybe we can get the paintings to come to life? Afterwards we’ll create our own mysterious patterns with marbling and collage.

Kristine Hjulstad is a doctor and artist. She has developed her own artistic expression - magic theatre - where theatre, illusions and music come together.

Sarah Vajira Lindström is an artist, who mainly works with textile and natural pigments. She also experiments with other materials and mediums such as photography and collage.

Welcome!
