Oslo Runway and MUNCH have invited the contemporary menswear brand 1313 Selah to challenge the traditional fashion show format. Performance art, music and fashion fuse into an audio-visual experience when they present their second collection, ‘Repentance’. In collaboration with Arif, 1313 Selah wants to explore and challenge notions of masculinity, regret and vulnerability.
For the exhibition Arif at MUNCH, 1313 Selah has played a central role in giving visual form to Arif's spiritual universe through clothing. This evening, you’ll get a unique opportunity to see Arif as a central character in 1313 Selah's universe, accompanied by a commissioned musical piece by Angel's Corpse.
The evening evolves into a party when the French DJ and rap producer, Brodinski together with Greek DJ Loser will send the energy to the roof. DJ Loser is an underground icon within the DIY techno scene, known for his high-energy club sets spanning a variety of genres, as well as his work with the record label Magdalena's Apathy, renowned for identifying and promoting cutting-edge club music emerging from the underground.
Brodinski had his break-through on the Parisian club scene in 2007 alongside heavyweights such as Busy P, Justice, Dj Mehdi & Gesaffelstein. His curiosity for crossing genres brought him to work on Kanye West's Yeezus album, where he is credited as a songwriter on “Send it up” and “Black Skinhead”. Since then, Brodinski has become a regular producer for your favorite rappers. He has worked with underground artists such as Yung Beef, RXKNephew, Coucou Chloe, BbyMutha, Peewee Longway to name a few.
DJ Loser and Brodinski launched their joint EP “Necro.Bot” in 2022, this evening will be their first b2b DJ set together.
1313 Selah: 1313 (ANGEL NUMBER; A NEW AND EXCITING PHASE) SELAH (FOREVER; GOD HAS SPOKEN). Founded in 2023, 1313 SELAH is a contemporary menswear brand hailing from Oslo, Norway, offering a fearless approach to politics, spirituality, and cultural heritage through the lens of fashion. After years of valuable experience at the helm of the most prominent brands in the Norwegian fashion sphere, the founders Duy Ngo, Tomas Silva and Erik Spanne are determined to create a voice of their own, with 1313 SELAH as their vessel.
Oslo Runway is a national showcasing platform established in 2015, which today plays an central role for Norwegian designers, fashion and lifestyle brands, and in Norwegian cultural life. The annual event functions as a meeting place for the creative industry and a front-row view of the intersection between fashion, lifestyle, art and culture.
