Extending his installation From Signal to Decay Vol. 6 at Atelier Nord into the live arena at MUNCH, British sound artist Trevor Mathison (Black Audio Film Collective, Hallucinator, Dubmorphology) performs a solo set drawing on his extensive explorations of the hidden acoustics of urban space. This is Mathison’s live debut in Norway.
Circuit des Yeux is Chicago based vocalist, composer and singer songwriter Hayley Fohr. She is known for her enormous vocal range, distinctive guitar style and the fascinating fictions woven into her songs. On this special evening she will begin by creating a live transformation of Trevor Mathison’s installation sounds before playing a set of her own solo material.
This concert is part of the Ultima Festival (14 – 23 September 2023), where all the diversity of contemporary music can be experienced at venues all over Oslo. The festival is supported by the Arts Council Norway and Oslo City Council. This event is part of the Sounds Now project, with the support of the Creative Europe programme of the European Union.
