In the Cod Drumming project, Rebekah Oomen has been researching the culture and ecology of cod, and how they are being affected by human activity. The sound installation Cod Connection (by John Andrew Wilhite-Hannisdal and Anastasia Savinova), presented at the festival, has evolved alongside Oomen's research project. Wilhite-Hannisdal contributes musical cod-pieces.
