Age: Suitable for children age 4-12 accompanied by an adult.
Dates: 17.-18. and 24-25 February, at 11, 12, 13:30 and 14:30.
Meet: At the meeting point in the lobby. We go up to the premises together when the workshop starts. We have a wardrobe outside the workshop.
Paint with natural materials: We use ink, liquid markers, sticks and salt crystals, and experiment with letting the materials control how the images turn out. Artist Janicke Schønning leads the workshop.
Janicke Schønning has her own "forest studio" where she works outdoors in all seasons. The materials are ink, gouache and paper. Frost, rain and nature's decomposition processes contribute to creating the images.
Janicke Schønning is educated at the University of the Arts in Oslo and St Martins College of Art and Design in London. Since 2010, she has worked on a long-term landscape art project in Nordmarka in Oslo, where she explores the relationship with nature through ink drawings, weather prints and text.
