The Munch Museum is a large and towering building in Oslo. The house is home to thousands of unique works of art and the workplace of hundreds of employees. Here, the audience can see iconic works such as The Scream and Madonna by Edvard Munch, in addition to a greater representation of his entire artistry showcased across four major exhibitions.
But what is really going on in the art rooms and behind the scenes at the museum? Join us in testing our new experience and get to know some of the museum's secrets and mysteries.

We invite you to four exclusive test performances where the audience will get closer to the art, the building and the employees at the museum through an engaging walking theater experience at MUNCH.

With the project A Different Museum Experience, MUNCH and the theatre group Feil Teater are collaborating to develop a new format where the goal is to develop and offer children aged 6-12 a unique experience through the use of theatre in the dissemination of MUNCH's visual art.

About Feil teater
Feil Teater is a theatre company that produces innovative and inclusive theatre of high quality for the entire population. We develop popular theatre performances that are based on the times we live in, and that contribute to making society better. Our main goal is to offer theatre experiences that everyone can afford, and that seek out people where they live – preferably in places where there is no widespread cultural offer before. That's why we play in non-traditional places, such as empty warehouses, backyards, gardens and apartments. At the same time, we collaborate closely with other cultural actors and theatre institutions across the country. Feil Teater plays approx. 300 performances annually for 28,000 audiences. In 2023, we received The Hedda Award for best children's production with the production "The North Pole Magic Tram Transport".
