Ring Starry Night light Langaard / MUNCH

MUNCH / Langaard is a jewellery collection developed exclusively for MUNCH by Jeweller Langaard, and interprets Edvard Munch’s work in a picturesque, graphic and sculptural line. All lines and shapes are naturally anchored in the original motif.

An oval, organic, physiological shape connects the collections motifs. This shape can be found in Edvard Munchs simplifications of heads, nature and rocks by the waters edge. His works are simplified in this collection with the same formal principle, as a representation of his unique modernistic eye.

The Sun, Starry Night and The Scream are all based on a sculptural interpretation of Munchs’ works. Brush stroke lines create large, chuncky jewellery which doesn’t immediately reveal the motif, but still includes the picture almost as a whole.
