For Edvard Munch, nature was always more than just a backdrop. Trembling Earth is the first exhibition to highlight the central role played by nature throughout the entirety of his work, and the powerful visual expressions he developed to depict it.
This summer you can experience Trembling Earth on the third floor at MUNCH. An exhibition New York Times named “Best art of 2023”.
Trembling Earth is co-organised by MUNCH, The Clark Art Institute in Williamstown, USA, and Museum Barberini in Potsdam, Germany.
On display at MUNCH until 25.08.2024.
