Constance Tenvik is this year’s SOLO OSLO artist at MUNCH! Tenvik creates captivating “worlds within worlds,” and her latest work is no exception.
Titled Tio-tio-tinx, the exhibition is inspired by Aristophanes’ comedy, The Birds (414 BCE), reimagined through a contemporary lens. The installation features new sculptures, digital jacquard weavings, and a film shot at Edvard Munch’s former atelier at Ekely.
The SOLO OSLO series is part of MUNCH's commitment to contemporary art, and to developing a new generation of artists. It is supported by Talent Norge and Canica.
This fourth edition of SOLO OSLO is on display from 28.09.2024-26.01.2025.
