Marlene Dumas is one of contemporary art's most influential painters. She confronts and seduces us with her expressive figurative motifs. Now, she takes on the role of curator for an artist other than herself for the first time. With the exhibition Moonrise. Marlene Dumas & Edvard Munch, she presents works by Edvard Munch and René Daniëls in relation to her own paintings.
Hear Dumas talk about the themes central to the exhibition in conversation with co-curator Trine Otte Bak Nielsen from the Munch Museum. They will also discuss the newly released book Omega's Eyes. Marlene Dumas on Edvard Munch. Attendees will get the chance to have a copy signed by Dumas after the artist talk.
