Spring Landscape with Red House

A farm building, a stream and a small copse. Munch returned many times to this spot, which lay a few hundred metres to the west of the property, and painted it from every angle. The building was home to horses, cows and chickens as well as farm workers and, occasionally, the painter’s female models.
