03: A very special team

A highly competent team, who are confident in each other, is crucial.

The process with packing MUNCH’s 42,000 museum objects is enormous, and has already been going on since 2018 at Tøyen. The relocation team consists of a project manager, project registrar, paper conservator and art technicians. Given the irreplaceable works of art and the high value of these, it was important that the team quickly became confident with each other and gained the trust of the museum’s permanent employees. Every morning between 09:00 and 09:30, the team is gathered around their coffee machine and available for questions and to give information to other museum workers. This important, informal meeting place leads to great conversations and smart solutions.
