The Munch Museum offers a range of guided tours of the current exhibition during the museum's opening hours. We also arrange customised tours in the evenings, outside of opening hours.
Would you like to learn more about the current exhibition and works from our collection? A guided tour provides a unique insight into the art on display and the exhibition context, of which it is a part. The tours are led by knowledgeable communicators, who make art alive, interesting and topical.
The guided tours are tailored to the group's needs and wishes, and are offered in Norwegian, English, French, German and Spanish. If you wish to become better acquainted with Munch the artist, we will gladly include a short lecture in the tour.

During the periods 1 January–16 April and 17 September–17 December there will be guided tours in Norwegian every Sunday at 1 PM. Between 7 May and 10 September there will be guided tours in Norwegian every Sunday at 2 PM.

Between 7 May and 10 September there will be guided tours in English every Sunday at 1 PM.
The tours are free of charge with a paid ticket to the exhibition.
We offer tours to private groups, firms and others by prior appointment.
Programmes for schools and nursery schools
Prices for private tours during regular opening hours:
- Groups on weekdays 10 am–3 pm: NOK 1000 + NOK 60 entrance fee per person, Maximum 30 persons per group
- All groups on weekdays after 3 pm: NOK 1500 + NOK 60 entrance fee per person. Maximum 30 persons per group
- Groups of seniors on weekdays 10 am–3 pm: NOK 600 + NOK 60 entrance fee per person. Maximum 25 persons per group
